Judge Bennett presides over first jury trial, sitting for Judge Susan Kelly, in the 54th District Court in the case of State of Texas v. George Anthony Spratt. The jury convicted Spratt of human trafficking and promotion of child pornography. The jury assessed his punishment at 50 years for human trafficking and 15 years for promotion of child pornography. Judge Bennett sentenced Spratt in accordance with the jury’s verdict.
